Scanner 36 will sail as a prototype in the summer of 2005.
The production will probably start in the fall of 2005 an a few boats will be launched in spring 2006.
Contact Scanyacht for more information.

Best wishes

Its easy to see her relationship with her big sister - 391.
After what i have heard, she is expected to be bit more faster than 391. Especially downwind I think. Approximateley LYS 1.28 (391-LYS 1.25)

361 was shown for the first time in Stockholm earlier this month.
As an 391-owner it is quit satisfying to registrate that the constructor, Nils-Eric Olofsson, still has a preference for these beautiful lines, but a bit modernized. Both on and below deck he has used many of the same details.

The Scanner 361 is having her "coming out" on the continent this weekend. She is being shown in the ancora Marina, Neustadt, Germany where the "ancora advent boat show" is going on. You can come and see her on sat and sun (3rd and 4th of dec) from 10:00 - 18:00h. Nils-Eric Olofsson is also going to be there. You can find pictures of the Scanner 361 also on www.scanyacht.de or on the pages of www.onsalamarin.se.
Fair winds, Jürgen

Cool!

I checked the photo's and she really looks like a twin sister to the 391. Uncanny almost!

The main difference(s) that I see in the pictures are:

* Mainsheet rail now on deck instead of in cockpit
* (Much) smaller rear cabin but with huge locker gained
* Cockpit benches have a ridge

What is the same seems to be is both interior and exterior styling, ergonomics etc.
